The first B&G

My friends and I have been planning a special booze and games night for a while now… I’d say it went off rather well.  😉        Hula hoop gladiator softball twister jenga.  And some bevies. :)  Bahahaha. Our cab ride home was ridiculous…the driver had no clue how to drive the 20 blocks from one part of West LA to our apartment and was asking us for directions.  Not good.  Sunday morning I had this beauty waiting for me And now the weekend is over…sad.

Pride

Saturday was packed for me.  I woke up early, went for a quick 2 mile jog, showered, caffeinated my face, and hit the road.  Off to Glendale! Both my cousin and aunt are preggo.  It’s really cool.  This is the first child for my aunt and uncle and I’m pretty excited to be getting a new cousin.  I only have two cousins, so getting a third is a big deal.  And since we are (thus far) a family of girls, he will be the male heir carrying the family name on.  The fact that I… Read more >

Fig Friday

I’ll fly through the beginning of this post and get the part when (part of) my family is in town!! It helps if you sing while you do it: shake shake shake, shake… Read more >

Another maoz meal

Tal Ronnen

I just read this article and I think it’s fantastic.  Tal Ronnen is a chef, dubbed “the best vegan chef in America” by Oprah.  And let’s be real, she knows America.  He also catered Ellen’s wedding.  And designed the vegan meals for all 22 of the Wynn and Encore restaurants in Vegas.  Some favorite quotes: "If I could get one point across, it would be this: Being a vegan is not about depriving yourself. If you sit around eating lettuce and carrots all day because that’s what you think vegans are doing, you’re doing it… Read more >
