Wednesday Timeline

By the time I got home the other day I was about to fall over with exhaustion.  It was one of the busiest days I’ve ever worked. To give you a point of reference, I never finished my morning coffee. Yes, I managed to get away for my lunch break (remember how we have break relief nurses to cover us), but I spent 75% of the time tucked away in the computer room getting caught up on charting. A trail of oats & seeds

  When I was younger I hated nuts and seeds in all forms, but I especially detested them in bread.  When my parents took us to fancy restaurants it made me so sad when the waiter would bring out the bread basket and it looked like the rolls were infested with ticks.  [The image of my dad using a burned out match to get a tick to crawl out of our dog’s skin was clearly very traumatic for me]  Aaaand now that I’ve grossed you out with that lovely visual… Would you like a recipe?… Read more >

Rabbit rabbit!

February is my second favorite month (after October of course) because of it’s heart healthy theme.  So happy February 1st!
