A lotta work for breakfast
I woke up wanting oats with almond butter. Problem: no almond butter in the pantry. But I wasn’t willing to entertain any other breakfast ideas. So I set to work. Dry roasting almonds until they started to smell…toasty. I think it was ~10-25 minutes at 375 degrees. No oil. Nada. Just nuts in the pan. They took a long time to cool. Too long.
