Chickpea Wild Rice Salad

I am really on a roll with all these posts in a row!  Sadly, I lost my camera battery charger and since it died at our Memorial Day Party I haven’t been able to upload pics (such a bummer because we set up the baby pool for the littles and OMG cuteness overload).  I have my cell phone photos but they’re subpar at best.  Still, I’d like to share this recipe since it was a real hit and super easy. Not the prettiest, I’ll admit, but sometimes you just have to accept that things aren’t always pinterest-y in… Read more >

The latest food discoveries

The latest lunch boxes

Sometimes Kyle has lunch meetings and sometimes he’s home for breakfast so what I pack for him varies.  I just ask him about his schedule the night before and what meals he wants.   Last week I made a bunch of breakfast burritos for Kyle.  I assembled them and rolled them up in foil all at once so I could just throw them in his lunch box the night before.  So easy. I am seriously sorry about the photos, but there’s only so much you can do with an iphone at 9 pm.  For the… Read more >

December snippets

I have an insane collection of photos from the past two (three?) weeks.    The holidays are just so crazy.  It’s even more fun with a kid.  I feel like we are creating memories and traditions.  Blogging has been the last thing on my mind.  Actually it’s not the blogging part that’s the issue, it’s the uploading photos and editing part.  Why is that so annoying and time consuming?  I love connecting with you guys!  I’ve missed this.  So that said.  Here’s snippets of the stuff I’ve been eating and doing. Trader Joe’s gingerbread house… Read more >
