Birthday week fun

My birthday week started last weekend with apple picking. After that we headed to lunch at Mendocino Farms.  As much as I love the place, it’s not conveniently located for me.  But since we had already been in the car for well over an hour, we figured what’s an extra few miles out of the way? So many birthdays!

I’m royally sore today.  It must be the rollercoasters (because I didn’t work out yesterday).  Unless you consider shoving toddlers out of the way to get to the front row of the parade a workout…not that I did that.  For breakfast I wanted something cool and something crunchy.  So I went with a smoothie topped in granola.  The smoothie had frozen strawberries, soymilk, Antioxidant Natural Greens, and ice.  With Love Grown Clusters of Oats on top.  It was great, but I was really just passing the time until lunch.  Why so stoked for my mid-day… Read more >
