I love that you love hummus as much as me! A good day isn’t REALLY a good day unless it is filled with lots and lots of hummus. I am intrigued by the black bean version, would love to try it. EVERYTHING looks good, as always!

I don’t know about the whole sweet potato being the new apple thing, but I agree with the rest :-) I think the APPLE is the new apple. Enough said.

As I crunch away on an apple…

If I wasn’t orange already, you better believe I would down 5 sweet potatoes. Unfortunately, my mom looked at my hands the other day and went, “So, you’ve been eating carrots, huh?!” Guilty as charged. Do you think the whiteness of apples counteracts the orange tint? I hope so!

I thought this was a myth as well, until i had a bit too much beta-carotene one month while i was training and started to appear jaundice to my clients:) I assured them it was completely normal for a person who consumes copious amounts (pounds) of carrots, kabocha squash, pumpkin and of course sweet potatoes. I have to tell you that your old posts are a great way to kill time between class as well!! I find myself constantly searching for odwalla bars in EVERY SINGLE store i have been in now and my closest bet has been KO-wala chocolate bars, which were not vegan, unfortunately… Apparently south-western Ontario missed the vegan train. Send a shipment of some good food my way asap, please:)
