Hawaii photos

Indulge me as I relive our vacation through the few iPhone pics I got.

Up in the clouds.

Special Tim Tams.  Yummm.

Dinner at Leilani’s.  Fish (monchong I think?) and shrimp with coconut black rice and bok choy.

Auntie L train.

My lunch 75% of the days there.  Papaya seed dressing is where it’s at.

Some naps were harder to get out of him.

IMG_8064

But I don’t mind a snuggle session one bit.

IMG_8067

Mango fizzy something or other (with booze).

IMG_8068

The Ka’anapali breakfast.  So. Much. Food.

More drank, more mama naps.

IMG_8017

More fries.

Teaching the boys to braid.

My drink at Merrimen’s was called “Da Pine” and had Ocean Vodka, fresh squeezed pineapple juice, ginger beer, lilikoi foam,  and li hing mui dust.  Aka heaven in a cup.

I tied some taro chips and ahi poke as an app.  Kyle got the creamy cauliflower soup (of the day).

IMG_7980 IMG_7984

Then I got the Upcountry Organic Kale and Butter Lettuce salad (with Hana hearts of palm, roasted beets, compressed Maui Gold pineapple, Big Island goat cheese, crispy Maui onions and   a miso citrus and smoked honey vinaigrette).

Followed by the Five Spice Pan Roasted Jidori Chicken (with Lehua taro cake, grilled hirabara kale, roasted kabocha pumpkin, and roasted garlic chicken jus).

The kale in both was the muthafreakin highlight.  Amazing.

My sister’s wok charred ahi is on the left, and Kyle’s mahi magi (with ginger butternut squash ravioli) on the right.

And this is dad’s cake!  I did the honu icing 🙂

Peek-a-boo with the car seat shade never gets old.

IMG_8022

Not too shabby a view.

Peek-a-boo with the airplane seat in front of us (my sister’s).

Snorkel ready.

I ordered this for the pickled cucumber.  😉  Worth it.

And now it’s time to vegetables.  And drink water.  Oof.

Really jealous of this trip. Did you guys stay at Honua Kai? That’s where we stayed in Maui and it looks similar to one of your photos!

This is a random comment, sorry! I blame the cough medicine.
