I repeat, no work this weekend

I was off this weekend (which is abnormal since I was also off last weekend and I usually have an every other schedule).  So exciting!!

Saturday morning.  Frothy mocha flavored milk.  Home-made bread.  Toasted to oblivion.  Buttered up the yin yang.  Fried egg on the side.

Farmer’s market.

Restoration Hardware baby & child grand opening.  They have a dresser named after me (too bad these are all too expensive).  Need to hit up some garage sales asap.

College football.

Lunch.  Breakfast grain mix.  Seitan.  Carrots.  Nutritional yeast.

IMG_6082

Snack.  Sabra spinach & artichoke hummus.  Carrots.

Dinner.  TJ’s vegetable masala burger.  Leftover curry couscous with cashews.

This is the first time I’ve bought these vegan masala burgers.  I have heard good reviews, and I’m happy to say I agree with them.  They have a nice Indian flavor, making them a change up from a plain veggie burger.

It was pretty heavy on the potatoes, so it’s flavor profile reminded me a lot of a samosa.  Not much in the way of protein (not that I really care) but all recognizable ingredients.  Definitely a good purchase.

I ate a crap ton of trail mix after dinner and kinda regretted it, but it’s over and done now.  Another day, another fresh start.

Football + waffles = Sunday morning!!

Home-made holiday waffles.  With maple syrup and enough Earth Balance to make Paula Deen proud.  Recipe coming.

Football.  Football. Football.

Snackage.  Snackage.  Snackage.

Laundry.  Errands.  Lunch.  Long walk with Kyle.  Meal planning.  Grocery shopping.  Work week prep.  Sunday stuff.

IMG_6385

Dinner.  Home-made chunky rosemary cauliflower soup.  Soooo good.  Recipe coming.

Dessert.  So Delicious pumpkin spice coconut milk.  I’m so glad I tried this.  Unlike the soy milk, this didn’t jack up my stomach at all.  Just pure yummy seasonal-ness in beverage form.  Seasonal-ness may not be a real word, but I’m using it anyway.  How else do you describe the feeling of the holidays?

Hi!!

By the way, I posted some specifics about my low FODMAPs diet (and pregnancy) here today, for those who have been asking about how things have been going.

Yay for no working on the weekend! And I always want to try burgers at TJs, but they always seem to have either soy or wheat in them. I did find some salmon ones though!
