My laptop gathered quite a bit of dust this past week…
After the most amazing wedding (a day that surpassed anything I could have even dreamed of), Kyle and I headed off to Kauai for a week in paradise.
We lounged by the pool.
And the beach.
Sipped tropical drinks.
And some of Hawaii’s finest brews.
Got massages. Hammock-ed. Hiked.
And basked in all our newlywed glory.
Slowly but surely (Flashback Fridays anyone?) I’ll do my best to fill you in on the wedding and honeymoon details…or at least the G-rated parts. For now, it’s back to reality…and that means, unpacking, laundry, grocery shopping, and apartment tidying. Kyle starts B-school tomorrow and I need to get a j-o-bizzle.
Talk about a harsh return to the real world. 19 hours, 3 flights (2 of which were red-eyes), 2.5 hours of interrupted sleep, and a 3 hour time change…not the smoothest of transitions.
I guess I shouldn’t really complain.
Yay!! Glad your back…you’re pictures are unbelievable! And traveling is always stressful for me, especially when it’s broken up like that – glad you made it home in once piece.
Also, I love that hot pink/yellow swimmer suit!! I want.

Also, I went to the first wedding I’d been to since I was 8 this past weekend. I had no idea the incredible power of love that takes over the entire space and evening. I’m truly so damn happy for you!
