Sunday

Sunday morning started just like Saturday – I was off to work before the clock chimed 6.  My lunch was similar to Saturday’s too.

Let’s see if you can identify the differences?  Kidding!  That’s way too much effort.  Instead, I’ll just tell you.  Same salad.  Different bars.  Today’s snacks included: Clif’s MoJo Dipped PB&J, Chocolate Coconut Chew Larabar, dried fruit (mango and pears), and fresh fruit (apple and pear).

Sometimes I wake up with my stomach growling, but other days, I don’t actually get hungry for hours.  And weirder yet, sometimes I eat a meal and feel hungry 0.26 seconds later.  What the heck is wrong with me?

Full disclosure.

I supplemented my lunch with the (above) bag of pretzel crisps that I am borderline obsessed with.

After work I met my (second to) main squeeze Jess at WF for some hot-bar action.  I am currently in a rut…I can’t seem to pass up Naan or nearly black nail polish.  I’m ok with it.  There are worse things to be hooked on.

Loves.

When I got home I knew just what I wanted for dessert.  A huge vanilla banana shake mug of banana bread batter

Kids, I think I have a legitimate problem.  I actually looked forward to this ALL DAY LONG.  No joke.  I knew I was going to repeat this dessert from the moment I opened my eyes and sure enough, it was just as delicious as I remembered.  YUMMMM.  Along side it, I had a few dried pineapple rings, with EXTRA sugar caked on.  J’adore sucre.

Snooze fest until tomorrow.

Liked it but it still doesn’t touch the PB varieties.

I love those Clif Mojo bars! Esp. the PB & J and the Fruit & Nut ones! They are way better than Luna bars IMO. :)

I thought I was the only person who admitted to loving white sugar. But clearly from this, I am not: “I had a few dried pineapple rings, with EXTRA sugar caked on.”

Thank you jesus, there is another sugar lover who admits it :)

And the banana bread batter shakes are also genius. LOVE it. Gonna try with my next overripe batch of nannas that I will freeze.

Oh gosh. If I could live off dried fruit caked in sugar I would. Simple carbs are my other lover.

I love love love pretzel crisps. Made even better by pairing them with a huge tub of SABRA. I’m pretty much a goner when I get those both in my hands :)

Shake looks divine. I seriously need to get a magic bullet

Banana bread butter looks like something I need to get acquainted with! I haven’t had dried pineapple in a while but it seems like the perfect buddy to the banana goodness :)

I totally look forward to dinner/dessert all day long…I don’t think that is weird! Or maybe we are just two weirdos. Shrug. If it makes me weird, I admit to it! Some things (like hummus, homemade “ice cream”, smoothies, dried fruit, dates, etc.) are worth being weird, lol!

If you have a legitimate problem, I may have one too. Or several. ;)

I used to wear black polish every day… then I got annoyed because I had to fix the chips every day. I’ll get over it soon, I’m sure.

Interesting that I bascially thought those hunger-tummy troubles were normal because I’ve been that way my whole life. Whoops.

Pineapple rings, banana bread batter, yummmmm.
