Day 7: Bye Bye Buenos

Bad news: Day 7 was our last one in Buenos Aires. Good news: We weren’t heading home, we were off to Uruguay!   Phew.  I definitely wasn’t ready to ditch my relaxing morning routine (and by that I mean lack of routine). For lunch Kyle and I wanted to go back to Palermo SoHo.  It was such a cute part of town, we figured it would be the best way to end our time in BsAs.  Also, we had been dreaming of this salad since we first had it earlier in the trip.  Randomly, Mark’s… Read more >

Day 6: Parrilla time

I’ll race through the morning food because I already posted about our day trip to Colonia.   Breakfast: coffee and cookies. Lunch was really more of a second breakfast since it was well before noon.  Bread.   Salmon salad.   Spinach ravioli.   After returning to Buenos Aires, we grabbed some snacks at a natural foods market.   And then I bought 70 dollars worth of chocolate. Day 5: Mimosas & Mexican

I got waaaasted. Ha.  :)  It was… Read more >

Day 4: Bio

By day 4 of our vacation we had officially adopted the meal times.  Sleeping in late, relaxing on the balcony with coffee and basking in the sun until well after noon. Laziness suits me. b Blue is a cute little cafe in Palermo SoHo. Eventually we got the touristy part of the day under way and hit up the San Telmo Market.  You have to go on a Sunday. The streets were crowded with random vendors selling anything and everything.  And then there was an indoor market with more stuff.  It reminded me of La… Read more >
