Who likes coupons?

I got home from work sooooo exhausted, I couldn’t even be bothered enough to put a proper meal together.

Sometimes mixing 4 different kinds of cereal/granola/trail mix just hits the spot.

Simple, but stellar.  Dinner doesn’t have to be gourmet to make my belly content.

My first day back to work after my bike accident was a rough one.  I got an easier patient load, but it was still hard at times.  I ached.  Lots.  Even though I alternated between ice and heat packs, none of it really helped.

Anyway.  I’m hoping I can tough it out fake my way through the pain for another day.

In the meantime, I found a bunch of coupons yesterday and realized there’s no way I will ever use them all so I figured I’d give them to you guys?

Helen’s Kitchen has a range of frozen entrees (lasagnas, curry dishes, etc.), meat alternatives (garden steaks, chik’n), burritos, and bowls.  The company is local (based in Orange County) and focuses on organic fare that’s ready to eat…so you can eat well without slaving away in the kitchen.

The Organic Bistro offers pasta and meat meals, as well as bowls.  They are also a local company (from Irvine) and I like that they source seafood responsibly and use organic ingredients.

So if you’d like coupons for either one, leave me a comment saying which one(s) you’d like.  I’ll pick 4 winners from the comments section on Friday(7/15/2011).  Pretty good odds right?

I’d like the Helen’s Kitchen ones, just because I don’t think I’ve seen the other ones at our local store (though they sound good), and I like her meat alternatives! 🙂

I would love to try Helen’s Kitchen please! The way I came up with my decision is as follows; I’m currently loving the debut album from Foster The People (which I will make you a copy of) and one of my favorite songs is “Helena Beat” close to “Helen” as in Helen’s Kitchen. Yes? Make sense? And it would be nice to try a form of burrito that doesn’t have dairy in it beside TJ’s chicken chile verde burrito. Thanks!

I haven’t tried either Helen’s Kitchen or Organic Bistro! And I love coupons…on a college student’s budget, coupons are a lifesaver!

  23. Adara

Have you ever heard of a “magic bag”? They are cloth tubes filled with something like barley? Anyway, you throw them in the microwave and they will hold the heat for quite a while, leaving them on sore spots while you sleep does wonders (I use them for running injuries, sore shoulders and they even help when my belly is giving me trouble too) if you can find one I would suggest giving it a try, being in pain is definitely no fun at all… 🙁

As far as the give away goes, I would love to use the Helen’s kitchen coupons, I have seen some at a near by Superstore, but I have only tried one of their curries so far… I always use coupons if I have them, my mom is a Scottish C.G.A, so she taught me all about bargain sniffing. 😉

  24. Nicole G.

  29. Dawn

Organic bistro coupons pls! I suffer from horrible allergies and dr. and accupucturist said that processed/foods and gluten could be the culprit so now I’m looking to try out gluten-free wholesome foods. Would love the coupons to stock up and see if it really makes a difference! thanks!!
