Secret special

If you know, you know. And if you don’t…allow me to explain. If you are in the know, you get an email from Nugget every Wednesday with a code for something deeply discounted that you can use the following Friday or Saturday. Many times it’s not something I care about or am interested in, but they do have some awesome ones. My personal favorite is when they do 50% off bulk bins. I go to town on those days. Unexpected shell soup

How was everyone’s holiday? My kids had the whole week off which felt like both a relief and a burden – the freedom to fill our days with the activities we enjoy on our own timeline is something we have greatly missed, but I’d be lying if I said it was all easy breezy. As it turned out, we DID end up going to my parents’ house on… Read more >

AM in the PM

Who likes breakfast for dinner??? Ok, more like who doesn’t like breakfast for dinner? It’s a classic! Especially when you are running behind and can’t get your sh!t together in time to make a real meal. I know for a fact my family does not mind one bit having am eats in the pm, and I have to say, I’m an even bigger fan because I never want savory things in the morning so I’m happy to have the chance to enjoy them at night. I pulled some fridge scraps out for both the scrambled… Read more >
