After a few days of too many FODMAPs, my gut was really really acting up.  I decided I had to get it on track stat. Thank goodness I sometimes plan ahead for moments like this, when I realize at 9 pm that I don’t have breakfast for myself, and then I pull home-made bread out of the freezer to thaw overnight. Since I couldn’t decide on my birthday meal I told Kyle I was making it a double header.  Not like he cares – it is really no different from me cooking any other night.  Except that usually I get his input on the weekly menu (or at the very least his blessing) and for this week I kinda just said this is what I’m making because it’s what I want. I started the day with a bike ride.  All good.
