I took pics of the days surrounding Kyle’s 30th, but never shared them! Never too late to celebrate? Here’s the young man and his tower of 30 beers. Kyle requested an al fresco themed birthday dinner, and since it was gorgeous weather it seemed like a brilliant idea. We hit up the farmer’s market that day and hung out in the park with friends, soaking up the social scene. It was a taste of what it to come (once the weather finally commits to warmth in entirety). The above platter had some old… Read more >

Hey hey hey! I’ve been internet-less for a week now because we are moving and it’s a doozy. I can’t WAIT to feel settled and we are SO close. We went the DIY route with moving this time around and it’s definitely labor intensive but makes me feel so accomplished. 🙂 Anyway, I’ll stop with the rambling about packing and unpacking. I’m lucky to have a big helper on hand (he’s especially good at unpacking). Let’s get to the real reason you’re here. Comment #119 is the lucky winner of a box of NuGo… Read more >

Sunday was our last (full) day in Sydney 🙁 We slept in a bit and after feeding P, drove over to Bronte for brunch. Bogey Hole was one of several cute looking cafes on the main street along the beach front. They were all pretty packed but after a short wait we were able to snag a spot outside that fit us all, including a very fussy P in his stroller. Kyle got a banana smoothie and toast with jam. I think we were all feeling a bit blah from the previous night. Laura… Read more >

While I am moving and MIA from the blog I thought I’d give you guys a chance to win some bars that have recently taken the HHH household by storm. Over the past few weeks (as I’ve been packing Kyle’s lunches) I’ve been including some different health bars to break up his snack routine. He has been enjoying the change up a lot and because they have extra protein, I think they’re holding his appetite over better than more carb/sugar dominant bars do. More importantly though, they taste good. Because obviously the taste is… Read more >

The weekend arrived and we were finally able to go out with all four of us again. Saturday started with a nice brunch at Cafe Indigo. It is clearly THE spot in Double Bay. Kyle got the blueberry pancakes (above) and I got my sister’s fave, the breakfast bruscetta (below). My sister got a new (to her) order, which looks very similar to the salmon benedict but has avocado instead of hollandaise. P fell asleep in the stroller at lunch so I cut out a bit early to go back home and put… Read more >
