What I Ate

Remember the WIAW days of blogging?  That style really fell out of favor didn’t it now…or maybe everyone realized how hard it is to keep up with and decided to embrace a new approach.  Those “what I ate” style posts are my favorites to read though!

Look at this disaster!  Took me a day to get back my waffle mojo…

See, here’s my do-over a couple days later…

Much better.

Anyway, on to lunch.  I made a salad, obviously.

Kale, broccoli slaw, cabbage, avocado, poppyseed dressing, dried cranberries, pepitas, macadamia nuts, and baby carrots.  The salad of my dreams.

I had a kombucha in the afternoon, too, and then for dinner I made a salad with mixed greens, salmon, feta, hummus, chickpeas, and a simple home-made lemon vinaigrette.

For dessert, I had a chunk of See’s toffee and half of this theo bar.

It’s super dark and not something you can eat a ton of, which is obviously why I paired it with sugary nutty brittle.

All in a day’s work.

    I love the ‘what I ate’ posts too–thank you for sharing!! Your lunch salad sounds amazing. I haven’t had broccoli slaw in way too long!
