Last morning in Philly! Rather than trek into Center City again, we stayed in our ‘hood for breakfast. DC: Founding Farmers

After a really exhausting day, we were all ready for an early dinner.  I’m talking 5 pm early. Gluten-Free Vegan Comfort Food

In reading this blog, there are at least three things you’ve probably come to know about me: 1. I love vegan food. 2. My GI system is whack. 3. I will never ever ever tire of reading/collecting/bookmarking cookbooks. This is my latest obsession. Butternut bowl

I meant to share this recipe last week.  Better late than never!   Butternut Squash Bowl Ingredients: butternut squash (as many as you want to make bowls) quinoa carrots BBQ tofu (recipe here) avocado Directions: Chop neck off squash so only the bowl portion remains.  Remove seeds and bake. Make BBQ tofu. Make quinoa.  [I used my rice cooker] Grate carrots.  Scoop avocado into a bowl.  Then add another for good measure. Eggs & Avo
