My little gardening buddy.

cookies + ice cream + downton abbey = heaven

What are the chances we would move from a house with a cherry tree to ANOTHER house with a cherry tree?!  These are technically from our neighbors tree, but a lot of the branches are in our yard, so yay!  P liked them too.

Water baby.

Seriously lovin’ on the baby pool.

I want a rash guard for me.  Seems way easier than sunscreen.

IMG_8468

We had so many leftovers after Memorial Day I basically had them for lunch all week.

IMG_5956 IMG_5918

Lots of leftover BBQ (meat, portabella mushrooms, corn, etc.), chickpea wild rice salad, potato salad and cake…so I made salads out of them.  Not the cake.  The cake was dominated by Kyle.

We also have enough extra beer for the next century.  Or until we have another party.

He gave himself that mohawk with pear juice.  Sweet.

IMG_5822

It’s like he turned into a little boy overnight.

IMG_5833

Happy kiddo.

IMG_8421

Alert the press!  At 15.5 months, my little boy can finally walk.

IMG_5891

Like and recommend.  Thanksforasking.

Not to seem like a booze-hound but the fruit from the leftover sangria was my afternoon snack for a few days in a row.  It wasn’t very alcoholic (and I just had the fruit portion!), so I don’t think it was too inappropriate for 3 pm.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Is that TJ’s gf beer? Not to sound like a negative Nelly but I am surprised you liked it. We tried it once and I couldn’t even drink it. It was awful. Even the hubs who can drink anything was put off by it. Maybe we just had a bad batch or something.

I’m glad you enjoyed it. 🙂

    Mmmm I LOVE cherries.

Water babies are the best! Hunter loves the water too lately – it’s so fun!

That fruit sounds right up my alley! Yum!

Gosh, It’s summer so great?! I love the idea with the soaked fruit! I did that with some kombucha & wine 🙂

I bought two rashguards from Lululemon a few years ago. I also dislike getting sunscreen on, and I’m VERY pasty. I mostly wear them when I’m on vacation in areas closer to the equator… the sun is pretty weak this far North!

I can appreciate the wee water baby …. I’ve always been crazy about swimming and being in water, too! How young do they start swimming lessons in your area? I’ve seen parent and babe classes that look pretty cute (at least here)!

    I can’t believe he’s walking !!! How exciting/scary!
Sangria fruit is the best part anyways, and a perfect snack. Yum. And with all the leftover beer you’re just going to have to have a 4th of july party too 🙂

Hooray for walking!!! I just love that pic of him in the chair at the table. We swim several times a week, and everyone in out family wears long sleeved rash guards. It saves so much time and money ! I got mine from Athleta and it’s cute too.

Walking! Yay! I feel like you’re part of the cool club we are DYING to get into. First steps were taken around 15.5 months, reluctantly, but at my parents house who have plush carpeting. Back home on our hardwood floors, nada. I call him the anti walker because he can, but refuses to. Anyway I hear walking truly starts opening up their personality! Enjoy 🙂

I can agree that ice cream, cookies and downton abbey sounds like an amazing way to spend some quality time! The last house I owned had 2 cherry trees in the yard! So awesome!
