Chocolate post!

Warning: if you haven’t had anything sweet recently, this post may cause drooling. Let’s start off with a favorite. TCHO is just such good chocolate, both in quality and flavor.  Some bean to bar chocolate is too rough for my liking, but this stuff is stellar.  It’s organic and fair trade too.  It went on sale a month back and I bought the max (8) that they allowed and have been slowly opening them.  The sea salt and almond is my favorite so far.  The cappuccino is also fantastic if you like coffee flavored chocolate…. The last grapes

I’ve been putting off writing this post because there’s a sense of closure that comes with it. In December, we bottled the last of my grandpa’s grapes. Banana bake

I’ll post this now, because I promised I would, but I may edit and re-post it later if I can tweak it to make it even better. I’ve tried several versions, and they all work, but it’s just about getting it perfect at this point. SB weekend

Brusha brusha brushaaaa. Kyle and I were trying to plan a date night this weekend because he’s going out of town all next week (so he’d be gone for Valentine’s Day, if we celebrated it).  The babysitter we used twice last year hasn’t been available lately, so we are back to square one with babysitter hunting. Sigh. Which means we didn’t get a date night.  Instead, we decided to do a family breakfast.  Not quite the same, but still a meal out, so that’s fun and different!
