Guess what finally opened!!! Tender Greens’ new Santa Monica location!  I have been waiting for this for quite some time (remember last week when I tried to go and it wasn’t open yet?).  While I was thrilled to learn that it was opening this past weekend, I was sad that it happened while I was away in NYC. Historical, year after year

Nine Eleven.  Wow.  A decade gone by. I don’t think anyone will ever forget where they were on that fateful day in 2001.  I was about to start undergrad at UCLA. Several years later, on Sep 11th, I moved to Philly for RN school . And then exactly one year later, again on Sep 11th, I moved to NYC. Easy to remember?  Or impossible to forget? Angelinos at Angelica

Eataly

  I haven’t been to Italy since the summer after I graduated high school (I’m not going to mention the year), but I have a very vivid recollection of my time there.  It helps that I kept a psychotically detailed journal, too (complete with meal selections and hilarious commentary on my family’s travel shenanigans).  Evidently I was a blogger (without a blog) long before the days of facebook and twitter.  Anyway.  I’m getting off topic.
