Reader’s request: For simplicity’s sake

A buenos apartment

We contemplated staying in a hotel in Buenos Aires, but thanks to the advice of a few friends, we did a little research and decided rent an apartment for the week instead.  We used apartmentsba and found a perfect studio in Palermo.   We rented this apartment and would recommend it again and again.    Pros: 24 hour security with gated entry fantastic views full kitchen (with coffee machine!!) private balcony gym & pool access washing machine in unit free wifi and apple TV cell phone (just add money to account to use) land line… Read more >

Monday & Macaroons

Kyle and I celebrated our Valentine’s Day early.  We just used the holiday as an excuse to hit up a restaurant that’s been on our mind for a while.   Akasha is one of those places that has a menu for true foodies.  It’s based around fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients – with vegetable quinoa listed next to Niman Ranch beef burgers.  I love a diverse menu packed with yummy quality ingredients. Potato Double Take

A long time ago I got a coupon for two Simply Potatoes products [part of the foodbuzz taste maker program]. I rarely hit up conventional supermarkets since I’m a Whole Foods snob, but I finally made it to the store to redeem the coupons.  I like free. I also like wheat free.
