Clean Food Comeback

You guys are so sweet.  I was simply floored by the response to my wedding post – your comments were overwhelmingly kind.  I felt like the luckiest girl on the planet that day, so I guess it came through in the photos.  I’ll try and get the second half of the big day posted soon, but I don’t have pictures of the food yet (I didn’t bring my camera to the wedding – the horror!!).  Don’t worry, I made sure the photographer captured my meal on film (I am a food blogger after all).  So… Read more >

Sweet-tea-pie

Kyle’s originally from the south.  Lucky for me, he moved to CA early enough in his formative years that the only things that have stuck with him from the ATL are his charm, his manners, and his love for sweet tea.  Since I could (and do) suck the stuff down by the pitcher, I decided to attempt a sugar-free version that still tastes sweet enough for Kyle, but is also not too sweet for me.  It turned out pretty well!  And since it was good enough to satisfy my southern gentleman, hopefully it’s good enough… Read more >

Confessions that you probably already know

Family size.  Party platter.  These words mean nothing to me. I can make a meal out of said portions without batting an eyelash.  I also have no issue with eating veggies and hummus for breakfast.  I also have no issue with eating “breakfast” at noon. Thank you Costco and thank you DKB.  [Seriously, if you haven’t tried this bread, you need to get your act together.  It’s only available in stores… Read more >

Golden Moon

A few months (yes, months) ago I got a little package in the mail.  Hmmm…did I black out and order things on the internet I don’t remember?  Curious, I ripped it open to find a nice gift from Golden Moon Tea.  The best things come in small packages indeed! As an avid tea drinker, this was thrilling and I couldn’t wait to try each and every flavor. They sell a TON of loose leaf teas (black, white, oolong, and green), and with the samples they sent me a bunch of literature about their products.  It… Read more >

Where’s the muscle?

This post is a few days old, but I was already so behind before heading off to Vegas for my bachelorette party that I was able to pre-schedule this post.  I’ll be back from Sin City tomorrow.  But don’t expect any posts from this weekend because (as we all know) what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas [and most DEFINITELY doesn’t end up on a blog]… Today, I had a trial run with my wedding hairdo.  😀  I can’t put up pics in the off chance that Kyle reads this post, but trust me, it… Read more >
