Addendum

I forgot to write about a new recipe I tried today because I cooked it for Kyle (so it is not vegan and has dairy). I made up the recipe for the most part. Ingredients:broccoligreen pepperSpanish onion4 eggs1 can condensed milkshredded 4 cheese mixPillsbury pie crust And here’s the end product…A delicious quiche with rave reviews – Kyle has already informed me that this meal is a must repeat. I love it when recipes work out the first time and I don’t even need to tweak them for the next try.

I can’t even put into words what has happened to me these past few days since Starbucks introduced me to the soy milk latte.1) I don’t know what took me so long to try this…considering I am lactose intolerant, it is really a bit overdue of a revelation.2) I am embarrassed to share this, but I have gotten 4-5 iced or hot soy lattes a day for the past Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. It is only a work thing,… Read more >

equinox?

Here is the latest healthy addition to my life. Fake sugars scare me because of all the chemicals…that just can’t be good for people to eat, right? I found Stevia, FINALLY!! This stuff is great. It is derived from a plant found in Paraguay, and other countries have been using it forever, but for some unknown reason it is not FDA approved. Who knows why…it is known for it’s antimicrobial properties and it is natural and has no calories. So hooray for finally getting it (it is definitely NOT cheap though). So anyways, I am now… Read more >
