Splat go the cookies

I had so many cookie fails today.  It was rather discouraging for my poor baking heart. I made FOUR batches of cookies today. Five pounds

You stay classy San Diego

This past weekend was faaaaantastic. On Friday I luxxe-ed it up with my bestie, Jess, visiting from NYC.  I adore Caffe Luxxe, and Jess and I have identical tastes in everything (with the most important relevant being food), so obviously I had to share the pretty soy latte art with her. Matadors and Mama terra

Thai in twenty

Are you ready for the easiest meal ever? frozen stir-fry veggies + 1/4 cup water extra firm tofu 2 tbsp peanut butter 2 tbsp coconut oil Asian spice mix/Chinese five spices blend (I used 365 Asian seasoning) Add the stir-fry veggies, the water, and the spices until the veggies have thawed.  Then add the rest of the ingredients. Serve over rice.  Bam! – you’re in Bangkok – and dinner is done.
