Self fulfilling prophecy

I got 5 pounds of oats from Tropical Traditions and I’m working my way through it pretty damn quickly.  Aside from my daily – sometimes double – dose of oatmeal, I have been baking quite a bit too.  Since I had bananas with more brown than yellow sitting on the counter, I knew time was ticking until they would be freezer bound.  But I already have plenty of frozen nanners!  Must. Pink veggie patties

Home-made veggie burgers are a tricky thing…  Will they hold together?  Will they be hearty enough?  Will the texture be appetizing?  Will they taste good? Sevilla’s vegan dessert scene

Babycakes has competition!    I was quite pleased (understatement) when I discovered a vegan patisserie in Sevilla.    It kinda made my trip.  I was like a kid in a candy store (or a vegan in a vegan bakery).  See?!  Not only was it nearly impossible for me to contain my excitement, but I was having a really hard time choosing which treat to order!  I could barely narrow my selection down to two items.            In the end I got a blackberry cupcake and a chocolate muffin (for the road). … Read more >
