Overly FODMAPs heavy

You know what my LEAST favorite part about blogging is?  Thinking of post titles.  Seriously, I am depleted.  After 4+ or whatever years it seems like there’s nothing left.  So I always wait ‘til the end and then I sit there, waiting to hit publish, while I stare at “enter a post title” on the top of the page.  Most of the time I go one of two routes – either super cheesy (like really lame puns) or super boring (like the name of a recipe).  It’s a miracle if it’s remotely clever.  But hopefully… Read more >

Dreaming of bread

Last weekend, I woke up in the middle of the night salivating.  Why?    Because of the delicious aroma of this loaf of bread.  Blame it on the carbs, yo! Treating an addiction

Ever since I tried Justin’s chocolate peanut butter cups I have been craving them for dessert.  Every.  Single.  Night.  It’s kinda a problem.  Well, only because I can’t afford to continue the habit.  I bought two packages on my first grocery trip.  I had them back to back nights.  I then went out of my way to take another trip to Whole Foods a few days later because those interim nights’ desserts were pathetic in comparison to the chocolate-y peanutty goodness that Justin’s treats possess.  I really didn’t need any other groceries, but I needed… Read more >

In & out of labor

I worked Saturday, but had Sunday and Monday off.  Wee! Let’s fly through Saturday so I can show the fun stuff.  I got up at 4:30 am to work out.  It was mediocre since I had a headache.  I don’t know that my heart rate got up since there wasn’t any cardio going on, but I did some weight stuff, resistance bands, and yoga/stretching for 30 minutes.  My headache disappeared once I drank a few glasses of water (and a mug of almond milk/coffee).  My half-caf-java was followed by the above breakfast of vanilla soy… Read more >
