This weekend was a (partial) work weekend. And it was INSANELY hot. Fall is nowhere in sight and while I usually love 90 degree temps, my hormones are not on the same page. At all. Our AC isn’t doing much of anything and so Kyle and I spent a large part of the weekend bitching about how uncomfortable and sweaty we were. So productive. Anyway. I did take pics of parts of the weekend, so I’ll share. Friday morning I had oatmeal with apples and almond butter. Even though it was hot, it was the… Read more >

But I like making things easy for him when he gets home from a long work day (and hideous commute). Plus, it makes me happy (and I know he loves it). Doesn’t this look gourmet? I’m sure… Read more >

Recipes I owe you include the following: Curried lentils and tofu. Kale chips. Vegetable pasta [with parmesan on Kyle’s portion]. Mexican nacho salad bowl. Zucchini bread. And many more. I’ve gotta get my blogging butt into gear. But I do have a few random things to share. First of all, the winner of the Sahale Crunchers is #34 Caralyn. Congrats! Email me with your mailing address asap. My home-made soy-nut butter method was mentioned in this post, which is an awesome resource for anyone who packs their food for the… Read more >
